Non-quiz Games.
Today we went over how to not make our game a quiz game. We played two games. One was called A hobo's journey, and Help Larry eat tonight.A hobo's journey was a question game. Something it shouldn't have been. All it had was questions. It also was messed up. Some of the codes was not working, therefore, the pictures on that game went somewhere where that wasn't supposed to. Now, Help Larry eat tonight, was an interactive game. You could choose how you wanted to play, like Drag and Drop, Use your keyboard, and another one. Help Larry eat tonight, was about this man who had everything, and then lost his family, and everything else he had. He lived on the streets. In the game you have to get Larry across the sidewalk, or you'll lose. It will actually make kids want to play it, at least for me. I don't really like quiz games. What's the fun part in them? What do you learn from them? Yeah, it has things for you to learn, but it's not as fun as a interactive game would be. So, I'm going to make sure that my game isn't a quiz game, because I actually want people to play it, and like it. Hopefully, it all turns out well and people will learn things from our game. That would be great, because, I'm going to make sure I work super hard on my game this year. So, yeah. That's what this blog was about today. Thanks for reading. (:

Game Ideas up to this point.
My partner and I have so many games ideas up to this point. We are doing our game on electricity. Thomas Edison was the man who found out what electricity was. We are doing our game on that. It took us awhile to figure out what we was doing ours on. We was going to do it on the history of music. Screaming music, that is. Warped Tour to be exact. But, we couldn't. Thats why we picked to do electricity. I think this will be a easy topic. I also think we'll have a few difficulties, but who doesn't? It'll be a good and fun topic though. These are some game ideas we have so far.
