Adding sound.....

How I plan to use sound in my game is to add it on the start screen, and use it also with the characters. It will enhance the game by making it funner with sounds. Putting sounds in this game, will hopefully make it funner, and more people will want to play it. It will be more fun to play with sound. Adding Input Mouse....

Our topic for today is to find a .swf file that we like from another Globaloria team in your Knowledge Community and embed it on our blog. We are blogging about Input mouse. We also have to embed the code properly on here. Im going to use Faiths demo for this. Her's is really good. She is in a group with Summer. Adding Input Keyboard.

So, i'm in Globaloria, as everyone should know by now. Working in this class can be extremely hard. You have to make sure everything is where it should be. Working in flash can be hard sometimes, but Flash is a program that will make everything alot easier. I like useing flash because, it helps me alot. It helps alot, it helps you make button, and alot of other stuff. I would rather have Flash, than having to draw everything. It is very helpful, it helps with alot of things. Animation.

We have learnt about Adding Animation this week. It's been really fun. We learnt how to make stuff move in flash. It was kind of hard, but not real hard. It was fun learning how to make a ball bounce, it wasn't really hard. Working on Animation has been fun, and it will help me when I start making my game. Learning how to make Animation, will be VERY helpful. It was very helpful learning how to make Animation move, because I will have alot of animation in my game. So, learning was very helpful, and useful. We made our own shape, and learnt how to make it move. From corner, to corner. Left to right. Stuff like that. This helped alot! Adding Buttons.

So, we have been working on adding buttons. It was fun, but hard. It was pretty cool, learning how to change the colors, and learning how to change the colors when clicking on the button. I learnt how to make the buttons change colors. Our blog says to explore our Knowledge Community and find a research link you find helpful from another student's blog. The research link I found is Alyssa's blog. This link helped me because she explained everything, in her blog and it helped me. Her blog, helped me understand more. I'm glad I found her link, it helped alot.

Progress.

My progress at this point is pretty good, I have almost everyone of my scenes drew. I am doing pretty good, I am still working on getting things done. My struggles right now are adding buttons, and stuff like that. Adding buttons is kind of hard, and I got used to adding scenes, so thats pretty easy for me now. I think I succed in drawing my scenes to make it look like my paper protyping project. I'm really good at drawing scenes. I believe thats my most successful project, in Flash. I like using flash because it helps me. I am doing really good in globaloria. Using flash has helped alot, with drawing, and stuff that I have to do for my game. Flash has gave me all the tools I need to draw my game. I look foward to getting everything done. Like, drawing, typing, and other stuff. I can't wait to see what my game is going to be like. Adding Scenes.

So, it's another blog! We've been working on adding scenes, and I have been doing very good with it. I have been visual storytelling by making the game easy to understand, and I have also added alot of information to help the player get through the game. Some of the games on playing to learn that helped me alot was, Medical Mysteries. This game helped me, have a better image of my game. It has gave me alot of ideas. Our game is about shopping, with decimals, percents, and taxes. I believe our game will turn out to be a good game, my partner and I have been working very hard on our game, it's been really fun learning how to do this stuff. I think it's very cool, how we get to make a game that was made by us, and everyone can play it. Other narratinve games have influenced by helping me get more ideas, it's helped me make alot of more better ideas. Drawing A Scene.

So, here is another blog! Today i'm going to be writing about new ideas and other stuff I've learned doing drawing a scene. My partner Alyssa and I is doing a category on, decimals, percents, and percentage. I have learnt alot doing Drawing A Scene, It helped me learn alot about my category. I learned alot about what we will have to be doing. The websites that helped me learn alot more about my category are, google, ask, yahoo, and a couple others. These websites are very trustworthy, they helped me alot. They gave me VERY good information on doing this, I use google alot. All the websites I listed are pretty trustworthy. It helped me learn more about my topic, Alyssa and I learned alot. I hope to do good, and make a GREAT game.

Paper Protyping.

Doing the paper protyping project has gave me a visual look at how my partner and I are going to make our game. We are making a shopping game. Doing this paper protyping projects has helped me alot, I have a good imagination of how I'm going to make this game. This game is going to be very fun, in my opinion. This assignment has helped me think more clearly about my game because it gives me ideas, my partner and I got alot more ideas about our game. My partner and I worked very hard on our game, it was very fustrating but we got it done. It has helped me get better ideas on how to do the game. On our game you will either choose sports store, or the mall. Doing this project has made me modify the plans we had. Doing this paper protyping project gave me better ideas, it helped me think alot better about what i'm going to do with this game. This project has gave me alot of good ideas. I'm excited and nervous about making the game. I guess this is it for now.

Game ideas.

                       

Alyssa and I are working together to make our game. Our game is going to be about shopping, we will have to use decimals, percentage, and taxes.  We are getting everything started to make our game. Our game idea is going to be educational, but fun. We will teach how to how to use decimals, percentage, and taxes in money. We are going to have a girl in the mall, and she goes into a store and wants to buy clothes. The girl is going to pick out some clothes and then she goes to buy the clothes. She has to use decimals, taxes, and percentage to buy the clothes. Thats what our game ideas are.
I'm most excited about making my game because, my partner and I have already started making plans. I'm excited about making the characters, and the mall. The plans on how were making our game, is coming along pretty well. My partner and I are ready to make our games. The more I think about making the game, I get anxious. I question myself before doing anything! I wonder will people like my game? I know there's going to be some times where I get fustrated and stuff like that, but im glad I got into globaloria. What Games I play.

                                  





So, this is another blog. Today i'm writing a blog about the games I play in my free time. The games I like to play are like pacman, and action games like that. I like action games because they are fun to play you can do all kinds of things. I like to play xbox. I like playing racing games on xbox. I like playing different types of games, I also like cooking games. I like playing xbox because you can play with other people from all around the world, thats pretty cool. I would love how to make a whole game, but I know it would be hard. We did this minigame project and it wasn't alot, but we had to get alot of codes and sometimes if you didn't paste the code right everything would quit working. I can't wait to start making my game in globaloria, we are actually practicing right now. We are learning how to get everything right when making our game. I like playing games whenever I get a chance. In globaloria class, we learned how to make pictures move up, down, left, and right. We also learned how to make A bunny eat a carrot, how to make the bunny lose points if it hit the wolf, and how to make a score bar. It was fun, but very hard. If you pasted a code, and didn't get it right it messed everything up. Nothing would move, or anything. I like playing different games. When I make my game in globaloria, I hope everyone likes it.

Choosing A Topic.

My name is Alyson Christian. I go to Sandy River Middle School. I am in 7th grade, my globaloria teacher is Mr.Lester. My favorite song is Baby by Justin Bieber. I'm in a group with Alyssa Hunt, we are called The Amazing A's! The picture up above is Alyssa and I, on the left is Alyssa and on the right is me.This is my first year in globaloria, but I'm really enjoying it. I'm ready to make my game.We chose our topic and it's about taxes, percentage, and decimals. Alyssa and I will probably be making a game about shopping! We work really well together. We have been answering questions about our game. We are planning our game out, getting everything ready.  We are going to make our game educational, but also fun. We want this game to be fun, but help learn about taxes, percentage, and decimals. Alyssa and I are ready for this globaloria year.

My genre.

The genre I would pick is Adventure. I would pick Adventure because it's a good selection. I would like to learn how to design animals, people, and other things. The game I like the most was WV animal recscue squad. I would like to make a game about animals and helping them. This game gives you tips on how to take good care of animals. This game is a very interesting game. I would like to make a game in the section of adventure. I would like to make a game in the section of adventure because you have alot to choose from in my opinion. You can find WV Animal Rescue Squad on globaloria's website. It's a very good game. What im going to do for GLOBALORIA!

The game I'm going to make is probably going to be about a Women making food for customers at a restaurant. She has to buy all of the food. She doesn't know how to times or add, the only thing she knows is subtract, and divide. I'm scared I'm going to forget something, or mess up somewhere.
